Jesus: Simon, do you love me?
Simon: I feel deep friendship for you
Jesus: Simon, do you love me?
Simon (somewhat annoyed): I feel deep friendship for you
Jesus: Simon, do you feel deep friendship for me?
Simon (relieved): yes

Maybe Jesus wanted Simon to feel deep friendship for him all along? In that case, maybe this is a lesson in negotiation.. Always set the bar high, and go from there.
